Nanaimo Foundation is excited to host Spotlight on Healthcare, a special afternoon event that shines a light on the charities and initiatives improving health and wellness across our region.

This free community event will feature local charities and non-profits working in the healthcare space — from mental health and hospice care to supports for families of children in hospital. Guests will have the opportunity to visit information booths, meet representatives from participating organizations, and learn about the incredible work happening right here in central Vancouver Island.

We’re also thrilled to feature a presentation from Tara Benham and Alli Cheng of Doane Grant Thornton, who will share insights on the tax advantages of charitable giving. It will be a presentation relevant for anyone thinking about giving back this holiday season!
