Nanaimo Foundation is proud to announce the upcoming launch of the 2025 Nanaimo Vital Signs Report, our community’s biennial check-up on well-being.

Taking place on Thursday, November 13 at Island Savings, Woodgrove Branch, this free, public event will bring together local leaders, nonprofit organizations, and residents to explore how we can work together to build a stronger, more connected Nanaimo.

About the Vital Signs Report

Vital Signs is a national program led by community foundations across Canada that measures the vitality of our communities, identifies trends, and inspires action.

The 2025 Nanaimo Vital Signs Report combines data and lived experience to highlight how our community is doing across key areas such as:

  • Health & Wellness

  • Housing & Affordability

  • Environment

  • Belonging & Inclusion

  • Local Economy

This year’s report shines a light on both the challenges and the bright spots shaping Nanaimo’s future. Through stories and statistics, it invites our community to reflect, connect, and take action together.
